Many art collections in the beginning of the 20th century came to bring together Italian old masters and oriental artworks especially from China and Japan. They were seen as similar artistic expressions for their mysticism and antinaturalism.
The #OnniOkkonen collection now @joenssuuntaidemuseo was one of them.
It remains one of the most singular collections in Finland.
