LE DOMENICHE ITALIANE @ LUCKAN

Le Domeniche Italiane a Luckan (Helsinki) sono pensate per le famiglie che desiderano trascorrere una domenica mattina insieme per conoscersi, chiacchierare e giocare. 

Ogni incontro include un workshop di Arte del Riciclo* (per bimbi e ragazzi dai 5 anni in su/ per i più piccoli con l’aiuto di mamma o papà). 

L'incontro è pensato per favorire l'incontro tra le famiglie italofone e attirare tutti coloro che sono interessati alla lingua e cultura italiana incoraggiando così l'integrazione.

L'evento è informale e pensato per incontrarsi davanti ad una calda tazza di caffè per i grandi e un piccolo spuntino per i piccoli. 

Gli incontri sono gratuiti ed aperti a tutti.

Questo workshop propone ai bambini di tutte le età la possibilità di ricreare con materiali riciclati oggetti  tipici di diverse culture come ad esempio le golosità della gastronomia internazionale. Fornendo dei modelli si vuole dare l’ispirazione ai bambini che sotto la guida delle istruttrici saranno liberi di combinare il materiale come meglio credono. Infatti il laboratorio mira a stimolare la creatività dei bambini attraverso l’esplorazione di diverso materiale estrapolato dal suo uso e contesto comune.

Taidetyöpajassa käsitellään ekologisia teemoja ja tutustutaan eri kulttuureihin taiteen kautta ja se ei edellytä mitään erityistä kieltä. Työpajassa kierrätysmateriaali on luomisen raaka-aine. Työpajan tavoitteena on tietoisuuden lisääminen muun muassa ympäristöstä, tietoisuutta kierrätyksen tarpeesta, eduista ja ekologiasta. Sen lisäksi työpaja on monipuolinen ja sopii eri ikäisille; samalla edistää luovuutta ja käsityötaitoja. Se edistää yhteistä osallistumista ja integroitumista eri ikäisten, sukupuolen ja kulttuuritaustan omaavien ihmisten kesken ja sen tarkoituksena on tavoittaa ihmisiä, joilla on erilaiset kyvyt.

In this workshop trash is the raw material for creation. The workshop is aimed at children of all ages. Crafting ideas are occasions to discover new cultures and to getting to know in a setting where spoken languages are not important and cultural integration possible. Moreover, the workshop aims at raising awareness towards the need and the advantages of recycling.

CAFFÉ CULTURA: introduzione alla mostra "TIEPOLO - VENEZIA AL NORD" Museo Sinebrychoff a Helsinki

In occasione della mostra su Giambattista Tiepolo che si terrà al Museo Sinebrychoff (Helsinki) questo autunno, vi presenterò l’artista in un’incontro di approfondimento informale e colloquiale. Ci sarà modo di ascoltare, fare domande e discutere dell'artista e del suo tempo e dei retroscena della mostra davanti ad una tazza di caffè o té offerti dal Circolo.

Un viaggio nella cultura artistica e nelle botteghe venete del XVIII secolo.
Per la prima volta in Finlandia, la mostra riunisce più di venti dipinti ad olio, disegni e incisioni di Giovanni Battista Tiepolo e di suo figlio Domenico. I capolavori di importanti collezioni museali in Scandinavia, Russia, Gran Bretagna e Italia testimoniano la fortuna del pittore nell’Europa settentrionale dal 19° fino al 20° secolo.

La partecipazione è aperta a tutti: gratuita per i soci, contributo di 5€ per i non soci.
Gli incontri si svolgeranno presso il Nuorisotalo di Ruoholahti, Messitytönkatu 4, Helsinki.

VAPPUPALLO DA TAVOLO

 In Finlandia la festa del primo maggio è piuttosto la festa degli studenti. Per questo è tradizione indossare il proprio berretto da diplomato per festeggiare...indipendentemente dall'età. Anzi, più il berretto è ingiallito, meglio è!

Quest'anno le piazze e i parchi sono stati eccezionalmente silenziosi a causa delle misure eccezionali dovute alla situazione di emergenza covid 19.






Per sentirci in compagnia ho pensato di realizzare con mia figlia Miranda un video tutorial per costruire e decorare un palloncino da tavolo...ossia che non vola ma che ci rallegra comunque con i suoi colori.

Ho pensato al lavoretto come "pacchetto di emergenza". Si può infatti realizzare utilizzando esclusivamente materiale che si trova in casa...all'insegna dell'"arte del riciclo" che mi sta particolarmente a cuore.

DOMENICHE ITALIANE @ LUCKAN

Domeniche italiane is a format that aims at bringing together families that speak Italian or are interested in Italian culture. During the event I organise a workshop for children aged 3-8 "Recycling with Art". The workshop is held in Italian, but language is not a barrier.




This Sunday the theme was Carnival, an important celebration in the Italian tradition. In part related to Catholic religion, but totally "pagan" in spirit. The idea behind Carnival is that everybody can become someone else for one day. He/she can do and say whatever it pleases them and to whoever they want to. Roles swap.

Sustainable art and crafts in a multicultural context

In the last few years I developed the art workshop series Re-cycling with Art. The aim was to use art and crafts as tool to raise awareness about environment in an entertaining context.

In this workshop trash is the raw material for creation. The workshop is aimed at children of all ages. Crafting ideas are occasions to discover new cultures and to getting to know in a setting where spoken languages are not important and cultural integration possible.

THEATRE WORKSHOP for CHILDREN (IN ITALIAN) - 9.9 - 16.12.2018

This autumn we are preparing a new adventure (thanks to the support of the CIRCOLO DEGLI ITALIANI IN FINLANDIA): the THEATRE WORKSHOP for CHILDREN. 9.9 - 16.12.2018 on every second Sunday in Helsinki - Ruolahden Nuorisotalo, 17.00-18.30)!

This will be a great adventure where the first aim is having fun and promoting the use of the Italian language among children. More to come...

DOMENICHE ITALIANE @ LUCKAN autunno 2018 (nuovi incontri)

The Italian Sundays @ Luckan are back!

In occasion of the Italian Sundays @ Luckan I am organising art workshops for children. The first workshop (16.9 at 11.30-12.15) is intended for babies (6-18 month), while the second (25.11 at 11.30-12.15) for pre-schoolers (2-5 year old).

Italian Sundays is an event organised in cooperation with the Italian Association in Finland CIRCOLO DEGLI ITALIANI IN FINLANDIA and with LILLA LUCKAN(Helsinki). The event aim at giving the opportunity to Italian families (or to whoever interested in Italian language and culture)to meet in a friendly and entertaining environment. The main language is Italian, but everybody is welcome. The event is mainly addressed to family with children and it is open for everybody for free. During the event is possible to take part in activities such as art workshop and traditional games.

CREATIVE WORKSHOP - GIOCAR PITTANDO

WINTER

The creative workshop for children (age 3-6) continues in 2018. The event is organised in cooperation with Circolo degli italiani in Finlandia (circoloitaliano.fi) and is held in Italian. 

The first workshops of the year have been focusing on the winter theme and snow. Employed materials: wall paper, sellotape, glue, tempera colours, shaving foam.

2 Then we made a snow storm of shaving foam and tempera colours. This activity was particularly rewarding from the sensorial point of view: spaying the foam, mixing the colours, and "splashing" it on the paper.

3 Then we made snowmen. I used different techniques. The first time we experimented more on the shaving foam and this time we added glue. This means that the foam won't fall apart once dry leaving only a trace of colour behind (as in the snowstorm), but it will stay keeping a chubby feeling / relief (soft and three-dimensional). We also used cotton to give a stronger winter atmosphere (and diverse sensorial feeling).

4 This was the time for the snowman puppets. Children could choose if drawing their puppet out of my model (body, hat, arms, nose) or making it from scratch. Then they were free to decorate it as they liked and to add colour (many wanted their snowman to be white).
